Paper cutting has become a way for me to silence my racing thoughts, as each cut requires complete focus and precision. By painting tiny colons and their arteries, I strive to reclaim my broken bodily systems and find beauty in their imperfections. Each miniature watercolor painting is painstakingly cut by hand before being carefully contained in a petri dish in an attempt to keep my fragile colon safe. ​
