Kaitlyn Niznik holds her MFA degree from Lesley University and her BFA from SUNY New Paltz. She received a 2025 fellowship from the Crohn's and Colitis Young Adults Network (CCYAN). Kaitlyn has been a middle and high school art teacher for the past 8 years in upstate New York. She suffers from a chronic illness and uses her art to spread awareness for lesser-known diseases and to build her own anatomical knowledge. Her artwork has been featured in The Pathologist magazine and In Vivo, Harvard University's Medical Humanities magazine.
